1) Seeing is believing. Business is good. i still remembered when i was in KL to meet up with my friends, everytime we passed by during brunch, lunch, dinner and even afternoon tea hours there’s always a queue a scene not replicated in other f&b outlets. not only that, many ppl who didnt dine in buy their kopi and egg tarts . how awesome is that?
2) branding taking foot. it seems like the name oriental kopi is synonymous to visiting malaysia. everytime i scroll TikTok there will be KOL and tourists from different countries documenting their visits to oriental as if you haven’t been to Malaysia if you haven’t dine in Oriental Kopi
3) room for growth. still many cities are not yet penetrated. Take my home state sarawak for example, only one outlet opened in Kuching recently and business is really good. i can foresee them opening in other secondary cities like Sibu miri or Bintulu followed by overseas market like taiwan or indonesia
4) decent profit margin as reported by them , nett profit around 29% pretty good to me.
5) management mentioned a 30% payout ratio dividend policy. any company with a committed dividend policy is always a plus point for me.
