$Oriental Land (4661.JP)$ I bought it at 4400 the other day as a beginner.
I'm torn between holding or cutting losses. Of course, I bought it with the intention of long-term holding.
If the yen continues to appreciate, does the probability of further decline increase? 😭

  • Mokuroo : If you hold it for a long time, don't worry about the appreciation of the yen or the decline due to market adjustments, and I think it's a hold as long as financial results don't go bad[undefined]

  • アルパカ123 OP Mokuroo : Thank you very much 😭

  • Tsumax1 : The current decline is not limited to Oriental Land, and it has impacted the stock prices of a wide range of companies due to the effects of the Bank of Japan's interest rate hike decision and the deterioration of various US indices. Please also take a look at the stock price decline of Toyota, semiconductor, and other excellent companies around the world. This is probably the one who is still working hard.
The number of shares in PTS on Friday was higher than normal, and ADR also fell, even below 4000 yen. Monday is difficult, but you have to be prepared to cut 4,000 yen, but the performance itself is not bad, and as described, the factors of decline are not related to Oriental Land's performance, so it will immediately return to 4000 yen. 5,000 yen may be difficult in 1 to 2 months, but isn't there a possibility that about 4,500 yen will be returned?
Jefferies, a major US securities company, continues to hold and maintains 4,400 yen.
Cutting losses is important, but I think today's Oriental Land is a time for patience rather than settling losses by cutting losses.

  • アルパカ123 OP Tsumax1 : Thank you for being so easy to understand 🥹✨ It's encouraging! I will cherish it 😊

  • Tsumax1 アルパカ123 OP : I contacted them because I was worried.
The Nikkei Average has completely collapsed, so if it's a credit buy, it might be better to release it once with a loss cut. If it is an actual product, I don't think there is a problem with maintaining it as described (since it is not a decline due to individual factors in Oriental Land).
If you are uneasy about the negative, if you have multiple cards, there is also a way to cut losses by leaving only 100 shares so that the shareholder number does not change, and buy back the released portion cheaply due to the convenience of obtaining preferential treatment with 100 shares. If you do that, the purchase price will drop.
Oriental Land itself will make an effort to raise stock prices due to performance and share buybacks. Anyway, I think all stocks are in a state where they depend on the Nikkei Average right now.
Incidentally, the Nikkei Average is the biggest drop in history, surpassing Black Monday, and semiconductors, automobiles, etc. are even worse, and I think Oriental Land is better.

  • アルパカ123 OP Tsumax1 : Wow 😭😭 thank you so much!!
I bought it with a Nisa frame! So I'm buying the actual item.
    I don't have 100 shares, and shamefully, I'm a beginner's few stocks. 😂😅
Once sold and it became cheaper, I was wondering how to go back in, but only time has passed.. 😅🥹

  • Tsumax1 アルパカ123 OP : Aren't there not even 100 shares? If that's the case, I think it's okay to cut the loss and buy it again. I definitely thought I had over 500 shares.
However, again, it has not been lowered due to individual factors at Oriental Land, so I think that point is reassuring.
Oriental Land's profit declined in terms of profit due to an increase in sales in the 1st quarter. This decline in profit is due to labor costs and miscellaneous expenses for the opening of Fantasy Springs in the new area in June. In other words, a temporary decline in profit. This sales is expected to be 75 billion yen per year. Earnings contributions will be added starting in the 2nd quarter.
Also, sales and profit increased and decreased in the first quarter, but we anticipate an increase in sales and profit this fiscal year.
Furthermore, the future strategy is the cruise ship business starting in 2028 as a new business. The level of awareness may still be low in Japan, but I think the aggressive attitude has sufficient individual factors to push up stock prices.

  • アルパカ123 OP Tsumax1 : Thank you for your kindness 🥲🥲✨
Really, Oriental Land has a different sense of security 🥺🥺
I hope to come back again 🐭🏰

  • アルパカ123 OP : I'm going to keep it as it is for the medium to long term! ☺️

  • アルパカ123 OP : 😍😍😍🏰🐭
