P/L sharing 20241012 - GoldETF

Hi, Mooers, welcome to my post. This is Terence and happy to share my P/L journey with you.
Here is my result by 11 Oct 2024:

Based on the images, this week is red for me, down about RM200, ending with total P/L at around RM300. Feeling rather uneventful week. Perhaps to profit from the market is supposed to be boring and less emotional.

Just to stir things up a bit, let me share how I end up with GoldETF in my portfolio. Back in 8 Jun 2024, seeing a possible dip on chart, so I long on GoldETF. Surprise or not surprise, it doesn't move much since then, despite Gold/USD has been raising. Make me feel dull on Malaysia ETF. (ok, maybe today got slightly better)

I didn't read up any news related with gold. Gold doesn't pay dividends or interest. So, I don't think gold is good for long term investment, and just do trading move on gold. I have no pretty story or intelligent analysis here.
