Palestinian groups emphasize taking a unified stand in cease-fire negotiations: Iran News Agency

On Wednesday, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), the Palestinian Resistance Committee, the Palestinian Mujahideen Movement, and the Palestinian Liberation Movement signed a joint statement emphasizing the need to abide by the aforementioned agreements and consolidate the efforts of the Palestinian parties to achieve the goals of these agreements.

The statement further added that Palestinian ethnic groups insist on the need to reform the Palestinian political system and the structure of the Palestine Liberation Organization and ensure the existence of all ethnic political parties within the framework of this organization.

The Palestinian Group aims to support the realization of the Palestinian people's desire to form an independent Palestinian nation with Kood as its capital by calling for the mobilization of people in all stadiums, squares, and capitals to urgently stop the genocide in Gaza and Palestine and support Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa mosques against terrorist acts of the Zionist regime and Zionist settlers.

By supporting heroic resistance activities in the West Bank, the Holy Kuds, and the Palestinian Occupation in 1948, the four Palestinian groups mentioned called on Palestinian resistance forces in these regions to step up comprehensive resistance activities while supporting resistance fighters against arrest attempts.

US President Joe Biden, Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi, and Qatar's Chief Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani issued a joint statement last week calling for the resumption of cease-fire talks starting tomorrow (Thursday) in Doha.

Prior to this, Hamas senior official Sohail Hindi told the media that the movement would not participate in future discussions scheduled in Doha or Cairo.
