Pana HD Settles Patent Infringement Lawsuit with Broadcom
Panasonic Holdings $PANASONIC HOLDINGS CORP (PCRFF.US)$ On October 31st accused U.S. semiconductor giant Broadcom. It is now announced that a final settlement has been reached in two lawsuits against O. The documents have been filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Texas.
In a complaint filed last year in the U.S. District Court in Waco, Panasonic HD claimed that Broadcom's microprocessors, integrated circuits (ICs), and wireless networking components infringed on 10 of its patents related to information processing, data transmission, and other technologies. In doing so. 2019 and 2020, the company had sought patent licensing matters from Broadcom but did not receive a response, so it filed for damages and an injunction to stop patent infringement.
Broadcom denied Panasonic HD's claims in a court filing.
In July, the two companies reported to the Federal District Court that they had reached a settlement in principle. $Broadcom (AVGO.US)$
