The top-performing user benefited from the surge in $BTC Digital (BTCT.US)$'s stock price. BTCT, a Bitcoin mining company, focuses on creating value in the virtual world, blockchain, and cryptocurrency mining industries. On November 7, the user purchased 15,000 shares at $1.995 per share and held them until the competition ended. Subsequently, Bitcoin's continued rally, fueled by the Trump administration's support for cryptocurrencies, drove the company’s stock price up by over 800% since November 7. Additionally, on November 13, the company announced an agreement with Recte Technologies and an Asian investment fund to host 1,100 Bitcoin mining machines in the U.S., further expanding its influence in digital currency mining.

The strong performance of the second and third-ranked investors can be attributed to their strategy of combining short selling with momentum information. They profited by applying swing trading strategies to small-cap stocks. When stock prices surge due to positive news or market sentiment, these investors perceive the spike as potentially short-lived and unsustainable, leading them to short-sell the stock. Once the stock price falls as expected, they buy back the shares at a lower price to return them to the lender, completing the short-selling operation and realizing a profit.
The risk in this strategy lies in the possibility of the stock price continuing to rise instead of falling, which could result in losses for short sellers. Therefore, this approach requires accurate judgment of market trends and strict risk control. For example, when $Sonnet BioTherapeutic (SONN.US)$’s stock price surged over 120% at the opening, the second-ranked user began selling the stock in batches shortly after the market opened on November 6. They then repurchased the stock at $3.40 the following day to return it to the lender, achieving substantial profits through this strategy.

During market downturns, such as when the Nasdaq index drops by 2%, I usually stay on the sidelines with no open positions for a few days. My risk management strategy is mainly based on the stock's closing price, with intraday volatility as a supplementary factor. I sell when the stock closes below its opening price or displays a significant intraday volatility. Read more>>
I believed that, with Trump’s policy support, Bitcoin had the potential for significant gains. Therefore, I allocated most of my simulated funds into these ETFs to maximize potential returns. In terms of execution, I closely followed the dynamics of the Bitcoin market and adjusted my positions in response to changes in news and market sentiment. I did not engage in frequent trading; instead, I chose to build positions at the right times and patiently waited for the market's upward trend. This strategy, as it turned out, yielded substantial returns. Read more>>
......my strategy straight from the get go was, day trade by shorting stocks as much as possible. This involved daily scanning the market mostly during premarket and looking at the moomoo Market Featured Lists sorted by high % change and anything that is ~$1 or above mark. Shorting if you don't know basically you buy stock at the high and short it so that you will profit on the fall. Read more>>
I didnt use leverage and was as high as 5th before a final pullback a few days before the end. l followed the same strategy I use in my live trading. All long Microstrategy ETFs and shares. MSTR 20%, MSTU 40%, MSTX 40%.(PS I'm also 3 months into my own trading challenge: 100k to 1000k in 12 months - follow me to see how im doing)  Follow him to witness the great challenge>>
After Musk went all-in on Trump and Watts was nominated as vice president, I think the probability of winning seems clear, especially since the people at paypal, including the boss Peter, have already bet on it.So under these conditions, I have laid out MSTR. $MicroStrategy (MSTR.US)$ and Coinbase $Coinbase (COIN.US)$, as well as miner stock Mara, $MARA Holdings (MARA.US)$, almost all in my large positions. Additionally, I also bought a small position in DJT Trump Media Group, $Trump Media & Technology (DJT.US)$, as it is a hot stock related to election speculation. The risks are high, but the returns are also considerable. Read more>>
