Taking a partial retreat to observe the situation

Yesterday, Japanese stocks experienced a considerable decline, while US stocks showed a cautious trend.
I completely withdrew from Japanese stocks at the opening! There may be a temporary pullback, but technically it's a double top and it's natural to expect a decline. It's a courageous withdrawal for that reason. Among the stocks I withdrew from, $NS Solutions (2327.JP)$ because
US stocks were low at the opening, so $Ferrari (RACE.US)$ was profit-taking. There may be a temporary pullback, but for now I'm pulling back and watching the situation.
Other stocks are gradually rising in a linear fashion, so they are not affected much. $Aflac Inc (AFL.US)$ and $Philip Morris International (PM.US)$ is very strong.
In the end, last week I rapidly reduced my position from nearly full to 30% of stocks. I hope nothing happens, but it's always good to be prepared.

  • exera : It's great. There have been many situations where I should have pulled out, but I couldn't and my assets were halved. I regret not pulling out at that time.[undefined]

  • おねご OP exera : Retreating is difficult, isn't it? As a concept I learned from my investment mentor, investing is similar to driving a car, with Long = stepping on the accelerator and Short = stepping on the foundation brake. When driving a car, we always step on the brake when we sense danger, don't we? If we think it's dangerous, we first step on the brake a little, and if it still seems dangerous, we step on the brake harder. If there was actually nothing, we can step on the accelerator again. Thinking this way, retreating has become easier 🚗
