XPENG has announced a strategic partnership with International Motors (IML) as its official UK distributor, planning to launch in early 2025 with the G6 mid-size SUV. IML, with nearly 50 years of experience, will establish a broad network for sales and after-sales services. The UK market entry aligns with the country's rapid EV adoption, supported by 62,536 public charging devices as of July 2024. The G6, featuring 800-volt supercharging and advanced AI technology, recently received a Euro NCAP 5-star safety rating. This expansion is part of XPENG's broader strategy to enter over 60 international markets by 2025, targeting 50% of sales from markets outside China.
