Partnership discussions with Intel over SoftBank G and AI semiconductors also broke down = FT

The English Financial Times (FT) reported on the 15th that although the SoftBank Group (9984.T), opens new tab discussed a partnership with US Intel in artificial intelligence (AI) semiconductor manufacturing in order to compete against US NVIDIA, the plan was canceled.
It is said that Intel did not meet the requirements of SoftBank G, and it was not realized.
According to FT, the reason for the breakdown of discussions was that the Intel side was unable to meet demands regarding quantity and speed, SoftBank G is currently focusing on negotiations with Taiwan Integrated Circuit Manufacturing (TSMC) (2330.TW).
It is said that discussions broke down before Intel announced the cost reduction plan at the beginning of this month.
Intel and SoftBank G were not available for comment.
