PBOC Keeps Rates Unchanged, Continues MLF Operations
The People’s Bank of China (PBOC) maintained its interest rates, continuing its medium-term lending facility (MLF) operations with a 1 trillion yuan rollover for the fifth consecutive month without net cash injections.
Private equity stock positions rose, with large private equity firms increasing their holdings to the highest level in 42 weeks. According to data from the private equity tracker, as of July 5th, 56.99% of private equity funds were fully invested in stocks; medium-positioned private equity funds accounted for 29.49%; low-positioned funds accounted for 12.22%; and empty positions accounted for 1.30%. Compared with the previous week, the proportion of fully invested private equity funds increased significantly, while the proportions of other levels decreased, indicating an overall increase in stock positions.
