In the USA, if Intel doesn't make chips, who else has the ability to make chips? Currently, Intel is short of money and the cost of building a wafer factory is too high. Intel is now hoping that the behind-the-scenes financial consortium of the US government will acquire Intel, making the government consortium the largest shareholder of Intel. They want to manufacture chips like China, using the power of the whole country.

. I hope the USA government can set up its own chip manufacturing facilities and conduct research and development by itself instead of outsourcing to private institutions. Otherwise, it will be a huge loss for them to solely focus on research and development.
