This is the silliest rookie mistake I've made so far. I was on a hunt for stocks to build my portfolio in the early days and was rushing to fulfil the 'buy x stocks and earn x points' challenge. I didn't research this company and made the decision solely on the 1D, 1M, 6M indicators, which showed bullish in all 3. I thought I would buy and hold until one fine day when it goes up. But now I realise with limited resources (funds) and the need to grow the portfolio value in the short term in order to be able to enjoy a 'hold & wait' attitude in long term, I need 'productive' stocks. And this ain't one of them. I decided to sell it, even at a loss, to free up the funds for shorter terms prospects. Painful but lesson learned.
