POV 2 newbie
A point of view of newbie investor intested in INTEL
Intel is a chip manufacturer. Despite recent challenges, it's still a player in the industry. Although they lose alots lately, revenue and profits have declined recently; mainly due to changes in leadership and increased spending on research and development.
I think it’s essential that Intel is investing heavily in research and development to stay competitive. This long-term strategy aims to regain its position as a market leader or trying to catch up the others company that walked far away. But as long term investor, they did a right choice on stay out of the competition and build themselves. like running in marathon for years, its time to take a breath and recover to run furher.
As it clearly in their balance sheet, total assets consistently outweigh total liabilities, indicating financial stability. However, current liabilities have been slightly higher than cash reserves in recent years.
One thing i dislike is their operating cash flow has been lower than capital expenditures, leading to negative free cash flow. Dividend payments have also been reduced to support future investments. Fortunately, Im not aimming for their dividend return but more on the long term side.
For existing investors, holding Intel stock for the long term might be a viable option. However, potential new investors should wait for a more significant margin of safety or reduced risks before considering buying.
In summary, while Intel faces challenges, its long-term potential and commitment to innovation make it an intriguing investment opportunity for those willing to weather short-term fluctuations.

MAVA : It will take Intel about 3 years to recover. Japan’s foundry will be in full swing by then and dependency on Taiwan will be far less than it is today. We will have a more even playing field and Intel may not have the leverage then. Intel has a tough road ahead!!
Sixav OP : Yea totally agreed
