Prime Minister Kishida

The government is promoting the enhancement of asset management in Japan by encouraging entry from overseas. By attracting top fund managers from around the world, they aim to invigorate competition. Following the fundamental expansion and perpetuation of the small amount investment non-taxation system (NISA), this is positioned as the second phase to transform Japan into a country that invests and is invested in.
Prime Minister Fumio Kishida is scheduled to deliver a speech to investors on the afternoon of the 21st during his visit to New York (early morning of the 22nd in Japan). He will declare the enforcement of structural reforms in the asset management industry and call for entry.
