Prime Minister Netanyahu says Israel has “acted aggressively” to remove Hezbollah's threat

The prime minister issued a statement saying he had instructed the Israeli military to “act aggressively” after sensing Hezbollah was preparing to attack Israel.

The military is working to “stop the threat” and “destroyed thousands of rockets aimed at the northern part of the country.”

The prime minister added, “The military is also deterring many other threats and is showing great strength in both defense and attack.”

“We are determined to take every measure to protect our country, to bring northern residents back to their homes safely, and to continue to abide by the simple rule “Whoever harms us also harms us.”
