there's shares that only expire if stock goes to 0.00. then there's options. options are contracts that expire during specific time. option calls are bullish, option puts are bearish. then you have time duration like short calls, long calls, short puts, long puts etc ...there are also different types of calls and puts depending on how you think price action will work out. there's decent YouTube videos you can learn from.
