❗ 📉 Put warrants dominate top warrant gainers table as US indices see worst day since 5 August

📊 Put warrants tracking the Nikkei-225, US indices as well as local stocks are amongst the top warrant gainers with spikes of 30% to 100% after overnight US indices had their worst selloff since last month on 5 August, whilst the Nikkei-225 is down 3.7% as of 935AM after Bank of Japan Governor Ueda said yesterday afternoon that the BoJ will continue to raise rates if the economy and prices perform as expected, leading the yen to strengthen since yesterday evening

➡️ The overnight VIX, also known as the fear index, soared 33%, while the S&P500 and Nasdaq-100 had their worst starts to a September since 2015 and 2022 respectively, after the S&P US Manufacturing PMI and ISM Manufacturing both shrank below forecasts and added to recessionary concerns.

💻 Tech giant Nvidia also added to US market woes with its 9.5% tumble as news emerged of the company's potential violation of US antitrust laws.
