$SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY.US)$ I just want to mention I do not normally play zero day till expiration options however, in todayโs scenario, it was the right time. Of course this was not my only set of options most at least two weeks outward.

I donโt know why everyone thinks when you buy options you hold themโฆ hahah especially the one pictured which had an expiration date of today!
No, thatโs not how it works. You buy them and when it makes a dramatic rise, YOU SELL. No, you do not have wait for the highest price, if you do try that, the high will blow right past you and quickly lower. You have to be comfortable knowing you will always be leaving meat on the table.
