Hey everyone, I wanted to share some thoughts on the future of quantum computing. As many of you may already know, the market recently experienced a significant drop after NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang stated that “very useful” quantum computers are likely still decades away.
During NVIDIA’s analyst day, Huang said, “If you kind of said 15 years for very useful quantum computers, that would probably be on the early side. If you said 30, it’s probably on the late side. If you picked 20, I think a whole bunch of us would believe it.”
This insight reveals two key takeaways:
74917530 : And how the market reacted to one prominant person’s well-educated well-experienced opinion indicates we are in a bubble. Don’t kill the messenger. I for one plan to wait until these stocks stabilize before investing for 10 years. If you are really waiting for the long haul, say 5- 10 years, then whats the rush in investing? I think there is a lot of impulsive investing, and it is less risky to do your reserch and wait for more solid foundation (less volatility) to invest on.
DiamondHandYOLO : this qmco has nothing to do with quantum computers. it just happened to have the name quantum in it.
