Quantum teleportation has succeeded for the first time in the world.

$Rigetti Computing (RGTI.US)$
A research team at Northwestern Universities has succeeded in demonstrating quantum teleportation on a 30km Fiber-Optic Cable where current internet communications flow, for the first time in the world.
This groundbreaking achievement paves the way for the realization of a quantum communications network without the need for new infrastructure.
Quantum physicist Professor Jim Al-Khalili commented, "With the year 2025 designated by the United Nations as the International Year of Quantum Technology, the achievements at this timing are very significant."
The method utilized in this approach that can leverage existing infrastructure has the potential to be a significant step towards the realization of Quantum Computing, Quantum Cryptography, Quantum Sensing, and even a new Quantum Internet.
