$NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$ downward broadening with at least 5 touches. Key signals to determine if it will break up or down are:
it will begin to trade the middle of the formation instead of moving up or down. This period should be followed by movement to the upper or lower boundaries. Any break of boundaries is confirmed with a large influx of buy/sell volume. This formation is known for fasle breakouts, volume must follow, or it is likely false
