Question for the Guru’s on shorting
$GameStop(GME.US$ there appears to be a narrative of synthetic GME shares in the mix with regular shares. How true is this?
If true, how can we as retailers be 100% sure that we arent also holding these synthetics?

Rusty Shackleford 1 : They aren't able to take shares out of your account to cover some random hedge funds shares they sold short. Usually synthetic shares are dark pool shares that we don't have access to.
