Saylor literally owns 19million shares and just keeps testing buyers by diluting shares to “buy more btc” but what people don’t realize is that not only does your piece of the pie decrease, but the amount of BTC per share does as well. These concerns, along with MSTR’s poor business model that has returned terrible earnings and cash flow and has NOT been able to fund MSTR with the cash needed to buy BTC along with their business model has instead led to a situation where the company is a sinking ship in terms of its business model and must take advantage of buyers by constantly diluting to gain cash instead of actually making money, and hopping all in to a volatile asset such a BTC under the guise of a “reserve”. Okay, BTC could be lent to people and MSTR could serve as a mini BTC-bank, but not only is that centralizing BTC to an extent but it also is completely different from the current business model. I feel like this company will eventually collapse due to either a BTC pullback hard enough to reach or dip below MSTR’s avg which will cause them to liquidate, or too much dilution where buyers become exhausted and buy pressure goes into the grave. A lawsuit could also happen that could prompt MSTR to liquidate its BTC to settle or payout. Long story short, I think this company may SMCI or collapse entirely, and I would never invest in this just to get a non-definitive 1.5x leverage on BTC that isn’t even certain and instead based on illogical buyer response and sentiment to BTC. Why not just buy a BTC etf or buy your own coins? Saylor is a one person entity with too much power to over 200k btc and an entire company and it’s shareholders’ fate….
RVLTN : Fiat is dying to zero. BTC is extremely limited supply and for the past year that supply is nonexistent , in no same zip code as the demand. There will only ever be probably 15 million purchasable/ mined or still to mine , he is taking a dying currency - using its tools to get as much out as he can and shovel it into the biggest position possible in BTC. Debasement of the USD means he will win here as it’s certain the dollar dies- ironically the only thing that might be able to save it, or at least smart nations wishing to offset and hedge their dying fiat, is to buy BTC for their treasuries. This creates insane demand and this feedback loop lessens supply making more demand and so on.
Hope that helps
