Rags to less rags
Started at the end of 2023, having to leave my job to take care of my daughter during the day. Childcare costs more per month than I was making. Thanks Republicans.
My first trade was with futures and turned $10 into $1000. Once I had learned the ropes with crypto, getting tired of the crime aspects, I set my sights on stocks. I figured if knuckledragging degenerates like Trump can amass fortunes, so can I.
Started with $10 again, trading pennies and learning every day. I'm now up to about $2200. It's laughably easier than crypto, but presents it's own new challenges. Patience, for one. Crypto moves 24/7, with massive volume. Stocks move maybe 5-10% on a catalyst event. Growing my capital to meaningful levels is harder, and takes FOREVER, but doable.
Now at July I am poised for 196% yield this year. Idk if I am good or not. But that $10 sure did stretch far!
Poverty is not only lack of money. It's also lack of opportunities. I could have easily made thousands or more, with the right capital. My goal now is to reach 1 million in 4-5 years. Assuming boomers don't destroy the country before that.
Judging from the big names in investing, and their returns.... wait til they get a load of me!
