This news spurred Weishi Jiajie's stock price to rise sharply in the afternoon. It once rose to a high of RM3.64 during the day, which is equivalent to an increase of 26 cents or 7.69%

After eight years of eagerness, Google's new Pixel series — including the Pixel 9 phone, Pixel Watch 3, and Pixel Buds Pro 2 — officially hit the Malaysian market today.
Meanwhile, VSTECS Astar Private Limited, a subsidiary of Weishi Jiajie, holds exclusive distribution rights for Pixel 9 series devices in Malaysia.
Song Zhaoxiong, CEO of Weishi Jiajie, stated in a statement that as a company leading the latest technological trends, they are very proud to help introduce AI-powered Google Pixel devices to Malaysia.
He said that the new Pixel 9 phone is equipped with Google Gemini AI technology, and its advanced features and seamless user experience will redefine the smartphone experience.
Mike, vice president of Google's devices and services business in Asia Pacific, also shared his excitement about Pixel's launch in Malaysia to provide local consumers with more choices and an excellent Android experience.
