大負けネコ : Hmm, I'm envious and resentful.
Since I'm far away, hundreds of kilometers from Tokyo, I can't go there, can I? At least, could you please record and distribute part of the lecture afterwards? No? Oh well, that's too bad. In that case, even a digest article of the lecture would be fine. Well then, I'll leave it to you.
The venue is the Hotel Okura Tokyo. I was treated to lunch there when I was on a business trip to Tokyo over a decade ago. It felt completely out of place in the restaurant. Mr. Kamayatsu Hiroshi was to the right, and former Prime Minister Toshiki Kaifu was to the left. I doubt I'll ever visit again.
It brings back nostalgic and painful memories of Tokyo in many ways. I was recruited from a local third-tier subcontractor to support an international event, forming a motley crew. A hellish workload of over 180 hours per month. Was I being used by a career bureaucrat from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism who said, 'I want to borrow the insights of the cat'? I worked to death, gained experience, and became who I am now.
It's not wrong to say 'Buy the hardships of the young age,' but 900 hours of overtime per year? No way. If there's time for Q&A, it's a chance to 'challenge' for all the participants, isn't it? You might catch a glimpse of a part of the unseen world, at least.
At least, if you were 10 years younger, you'll definitely regret the 'excuses' later. How to use time is the acid test, isn't it? Well, do your best.
