What does it mean when a company's net profit is beating and EPS is not beating per share?
If you just divide it by the number of shares issued, isn't EPS beating if net profit beats? Tell me experts

kohiro201 : The consensus may have anticipated a decrease in the number of issued shares themselves. In other words, I think there is a possibility that a fixed share buyback was assumed as a market forecast, but it was actually lower than expected (or that it was not carried out, or the number of purchases was lower than expected due to a rise in stock prices, etc.).
It's non-holed, so I don't know if there was actually a stock buyback...
