103356508 : Off course. The amount your own will not change due to stock split. Number of shares doubles will lead to halving of share price so that the total value is the same. The value will change only due to share price change caused by trading activities.
DecreaseMeThere : if you're talking about the stock split, it will be instead of you having a single dollar coin, you end up with ten 10c coins instead.
Dennis仔OP DecreaseMeThere: Actually, I'm not asking about the split; I'm asking, now it's 1060 if the stock price goes up to 2000. Is that doubling the market value? Thank you. It's a very naive question, and they say I hope there's an answer.
Tiger Lion Dennis仔OP: Yes
Dennis仔OP Tiger Lion: Isn't it a bit difficult to double?
Tiger Lion Dennis仔OP: It has nearly doubled since the beginning of the year. I personally think it's a bit difficult to double in the second half of the year, but it's OK to continue to increase by 30% in the next six months. This is just my personal guess; it doesn't constitute any trading advice![handshake 🤝](https://static.moomoo.com/nnq/emoji/static/image/img-apple-64/1f91d.png)
DecreaseMeThere Dennis仔OP: yes market value doubles, but only market value. it may not mean the company itself is double valued and becomes superhero, just the underlying stock price doubled.
Tiger Lion DecreaseMeThere: The stock market value is the valuation given to the company by the market. I am optimistic about the company's future prospects. As to whether the market has overestimated the company's valuation, it depends on how one views it
104723732 Dennis仔OP: Long term it can go multiple fold. 1k invested in nvidia in 2008 is worth 153k today if you didn't sell and just stayed with the stock splits in those years
