Ride the AI wave
I already $S&P 500 Index(.SPX.US$ I am investing in ( $NVIDIA(NVDA.US$ and $Alphabet-A(GOOGL.US$ AI giants such as these account for a large proportion). At this point (when the valuation and price are high), I'm wondering if it makes sense to buy separate GOOG and NVDA shares. Alternatively, they're considering buying AI companies (I don't know which ones) that are more affordable and have a future, based on the philosophy that rising tide floats every ship. Or is it an AI-based sector ETF?
I've never invested in individual stocks before (other than those granted through RSU), and I'm not even sure if such an investment makes sense.
Is what I'm thinking wise? We welcome all feedback (critical or non-critical).![]()

リック302 : I think index investing is a very cool way to invest because it doesn't require time and knowledge for risk diversification and portfolio creation. Speaking in an unintelligent way of saying it, I think there is a very high probability that money will increase if you decide only one direction (such as investing in America or investing in India) and put money in.
I don't think it's wise to throw away overwhelming advantages and invest individually.
It's about how strong is your desire to gain knowledge and aim for higher profits. I think the index is the best in terms of time performance (I don't have time to gain knowledge).
I think it's interesting to look at individual companies, so I ignore the merits and invest individually.
oこまちゃんo : To be honest, the performance of NASDAQ and SP500 is good, so when I think about it in terms of risk return, I think it can only be described as luck whether individual stocks surpass or not. (The game is the luck of time) I think that if you improve your literacy and do thorough research and verification, your winning percentage will increase, but in the end, it's luck.
