what would it take for you to become bullish on this? it’s speculative but so was AI. There’s a hypothesis that quantum will end the era of needing cyber security. Heck it could even make crypto irrelevant. Computers that move millions of speeds faster than current technology? the risk/reward of these stocks is undeliably worth the trade. certainly dont throw your whole port at it but I guarantee you own stocks that you’re bullish on even if others arent.

I'm cautiously optimistic on the industry but when stocks go parabolic it becomes pure momentum it's all technicals no fundamentals. what that means is there could be a 50% sale off of 70% sell off it could go right back down to where it started and now you're sitting at a massive loss. and you needed to recover just to break even. so chasing stocks is really not something that I like to do I will give a shot every blue moon I'll take a chance. and if I make money in them I always advocate and tell people leave your profits in the stock because you don't know what's going to happen three five years down the road it could turn in to be an 800 lb gorilla.

pt 2 last week early on I was listening to an analyst the name escapes me I can search for it on my list he's very very good he is forward thinking he's a big picture thinker he's not a day trader but he understands technology he understands evolution he understands life cycle of technology and he's a hell of a lot smarter than me when it comes to the industry that these companies are in I'm dumb as a box of rocks I will just flat out say that. and I'm quite certain there's people on this forum that work in the field of quantum computing then know a lot about it and are just quiet and don't choose to share what they know. so this particular person that I was listening to he was saying that the transformation takes place with these small companies that the largest companies don't have the time to invest to create the new technologies that this evolution takes place at small cap and micro cap companies and then they get acquired or they grow into the industry and become a market leader. so I'm far from bearish I am optimistic but I also know when stocks rally and go parabolic the crash that ensues is a mirrored image of the rise.

pt 3 so this life cycle of all of these companies is in the infancy right now. so depending upon your time horizon if you were to buy something that goes up 100% And you throw a $1,000 in it and you go I don't give a shit it's a thousand bucks 1000 bucks could turn in to be 100,000 in 10 years with the right company could be more.. or could be zero. for myself how I do things I'll put my toe in the water and if it's in an early industry I'll try to pick what I think to be the top two or three and I'll spread the money around. and it's not going to be a lot because I don't have to stare at these things every single solitary day if they're up 10 cents down 20 cents I could care less cuz I'm looking at the big picture. as news comes out I'll read it as the revenue quarter comes out I'll listen to the conference call and as long as they are continuously hitting their objective and their goal I will accumulate more shares. so I think there's an enormous future and all of these companies but I don't know who the winners going to be. I do know one thing just because the stock goes from $1 to 15 doesn't mean that company's going to be the winner at the end of the day.
