egan1 OP Censorship here : not really, because the second the price rises miners world wide compete to deploy more hashing power pushing the difficulty up. Offsetting $/hash/hour so you don't really make more. look up the hashprice index and zoom out it shows the long term trend of miner's revenue/hash.
