📊 Rising treasury yields and oil prices weigh on U.S. equity markets

U.S. indices started off the week on a lower note on the back of rising Treasury yields and oil prices. The benchmark 10-year treasury yield breached 4% while crude oil futures topped $77 per barrel. The S&P 500 inched 1% lower with the energy sector being the only sector closing in the green. The Nasdaq-100 lost 1.2%, erasing Friday’s gains while the Dow Jones tumbled 400 points to close 1% lower.
