regarding gold.. I've got 78 1 oz ingots. I've had them forever I bought most decades ago.. I think the last time I bought was when was around 1100 bucks or so an ounce and before that much much cheaper anyways. I'll set them up on my kitchen table and I'll line them up like Domino's .. it's the world's most expensive game of watch the Domino's fall knocking one and then the next one over..

I would strongly caution you against buying gold off of eBay or people on Facebook for that matter or similar unless you have access to what's called an xrf. it's estimated that about 90% of the coins and ingots that are sold on eBay are fake. you can go on temu and buy very close replica coins and 1 oz ingots and the ingots are in plastic cases they're fake just like a fake Rolex and to the average person they're never going to know because they have the same markings the same lettering on the cases everything looks to be exact but if you take them out and weigh them they do not weigh 1 oz if you put a micrometer on the thickness length and width and height they don't spec out so do not trust somebody that's selling them because you're probably going to get burned. you really need to go to a trustworthy gold seller that's established that guarantees what they sell that will put an xrf on it in front of you it takes 2 seconds to verify the purity and then it's just a matter of the spread the bid and ask because gold trades just like a stock it has a bid and an ask and it's about a 2- 5% spread
