S&P 500 and Nasdaq-100 continue record closing streak; Dow Jones retreats for a second day

Overnight, U.S. indices posted another mixed performance as economic data showed job openings grew in October, beating estimates. The Nasdaq-100 gained 0.3%, posting a record close and its third consecutive day of gains. Meanwhile, the Dow Jones fell over 70 points, closing lower for a second consecutive day.
