Samsung Electronics' second-quarter operating profit increased more than 15 times and semiconductor prices recovered

In the second quarter financial results announced by Samsung Electronics Korea on the 31st, operating profit increased more than 15 times the same period last year. Semiconductor prices have recovered against the backdrop of the artificial intelligence (AI) boom, and profits were boosted due to the fact that the same period of the year before the comparison target was sluggish.
Operating profit was 10.40 trillion won (7520 million dollars). It was 670 billion won in the same period last year.
It was consistent with the forecast shown by Samsung Electronics at the beginning of this month.
