3 days into the paper trading game and really impressed by how green+++ almost everyone is.

Was never really big on day trades and have recently stopped swing trades because no time to monitor the market ⏱️

But now that we’re all paper trading in this competition, i once again felt the waves of regret, disappointment, and at some moments, joy.

Today i was filled with regret when i opened the app and saw my P&L. “sigh, should have went all in.” “only if i didn’t sell my VOOs yesterday…look at that insane gap up overnight” but fact was it hit my SL last night and thus had sold all of them. It’s depressing to think how much I wouldn’t have lost when market opened today.

It’s tough managing emotions when it comes to trading, but I’m becoming more aware of them and I think that’s a good step ahead. I guess paper trading helps too, since we won’t be too emotionally affected by the amount we see every time we open the app :’)
