$SGX(S68.SG)$ I strongly believe that SGX needs a total revamp of its overall attractiveness in the equities markets to stay competitive and relevant. If you are someone who just want to earn dividend yes this SGX might be for you to buy some so called "blue" chips stocks. But it'll you are looking to profiting from slthe stocks, the answer is no IMHO. 10 years ago if you buy a stock say genting singapore, today you still probably just earning the dividend having to sacrifice the continued depreciation of its stock prices. The overall SGX market is just not active at all perhaps stagnant for decades. Make it more active like the US markets after all we are one of the best financial market in Asia don't we? Let more institutions investors in to invest in, more influx of funds, good for Singapore.
