Skydivrrr : Options have a *Defined* expiration that your Stock, etc. needs to move before it expires. Futures are (generally) related to a Broader index of stocks, Oil, silver, bonds, etc. There are also Single stock futures(outside of the U.S., and Crypto futures). generally speaking, Options need to be traded during regular BUSINESS HOURS only, and options also allow you to have Ownership/voting Rights, if exercised, unlike futures.
Skydivrrr Skydivrrr : futures have no expiration date, if you see “perpetual “ listed, next to them. with Options, you can only lose your initial Investment, futures are far more risky if you’re not Careful.
