Should I Start a YouTube Channel on Casual Investing? Your Thoughts Needed!
Hey everyone,
I hope you’re all doing well. (Especially July/Aug has been hash to some) I’ve been contemplating an idea for a while and would love to get your thoughts and feedback on it.
For the past two years, I’ve been on a journey exploring the world of casual investments. This journey has not only taught me a lot about trading and investing but also significantly changed my perspective on financial management and risk-taking.
Some of our community members was asking why don’t I do more and share on a channel. Thats why I’m considering creating a YouTube channel called “Casual Investor” to share my experiences, insights, and the lessons I’ve learned along the way. The aim of this channel would be to provide honest, down-to-earth advice and strategies for those who are also navigating the world of investments on a casual basis.
My first series idea is to dive into a topic that I think is crucial: “Why 95% of Traders Fail.” I want to explore the common pitfalls, misconceptions, and mistakes that many traders make, and offer practical advice on how to avoid them.
But before I take the plunge, I really want to hear from you all:
• Do you think a channel like this would be valuable and interesting?
• What specific topics or questions would you like to see addressed?
• Would you be willing to support and engage with this channel?
Your feedback will be invaluable in helping me decide whether to move forward with this idea and how to shape the content to best serve the community.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I look forward to hearing your thoughts!
Best regards,
Casual Investor

Black Bullock : I need to see your portfolio before I tell you my thoughts.
Hoes for Harris : No
CasualInvestor OP Black Bullock : Added links to recent posts. You can click and check previous posts as well.
101775147 AL alfijai : is ok maybe alfi pyen
mr_cashcow : Yes that is the correct way, start selling courses online with paid exclusive access to private YouTube courses
CasualInvestor OP mr_cashcow : No lar. I’m just casually trading from what I’ve learnt. However some already telling me I’m quite far with my options strategies. Won’t recommend if you’re still new but covered calls are always a good start that I do often as well.
Aaron Invests (AI) : I would love to watch your channel. Tho mind you that is a tough road ahead. A lot of preparation work when creating a youtube video. Such as b-roll setting, mic setting, camera for your clear shot, lighting etc. You need to also master some editing work too. Been there before so some heads up and tips. I think a better approach is to do live stream on YouTube. May want to reset my channel again once I have my strategies retested. I have my own mistakes and owned up to it too.
CasualInvestor OP Aaron Invests (AI) : Maybe I should get your help with it. Never done one, but don’t mind when so many people have been expressing support. Was questioned why I didn’t have a channel previously and got me thinking on the idea . At least I feel I have a topic to start a series with. But the content creation, sound, mic, scene, altogether sounds daunting.
CasualInvestor OP Aaron Invests (AI) : Maybe we can have a project together. Someday too.
Aaron Invests (AI) CasualInvestor OP : I find my blogging in the comments attracted way more readership. So I will continue to blog here in Moomoo and probably work together by linking your tips video or some highlights as a channel link.
Looking forward to work together.
