Lamborghini168 : its control by funds manager in global. the price won't up much.
Meng PaPa OP Lamborghini168 : Yes, I agree. However, the dividend is controlled by SIA itself. If SIA increases dividend, its shares price will follow suit.
Lamborghini168 Meng PaPa OP : if dividend up. the price will drop more and faster. how the hell dividend up. price up ? the support price at 5.50
Meng PaPa OP Lamborghini168 : Yes, most of the time, the price drops more than the dividends, I fully agree. But as long as the company is making good money, you are actually buying cheaper and cheaper with free money. Indirectly, your portfolio increases tremendously free of charge, automatically year after year. After 10 years, your shares quantity is more than double. I am applying the compounding theory from applied mathematics. So even if SIA drops to $5.50, you still make money. The moral of the story is to buy and hold for long-term. Maybe 10 to 30 years.
Lamborghini168 Meng PaPa OP : 5.50 support is after dec dividend. next year night drop to 4.80 following 2025 2026 should be around 4.20 only.
Meng PaPa OP Lamborghini168 : That means every dividend declared, SIA will drop about 80 cents, and eventually, by 2030, when T5 comes into operation, SIA will drop to zero. What must I do now ?
