$SIA (C6L.SG)$ The so-called 'dividend payment' is just a nice term, it is not deducted from our own stock price, which means the more dividends are given, the more the stock price is deducted. Unless the stock price quickly rebounds after paying dividends, it is possible for bank stocks because of outstanding performance, but for SIA?, difficult! Don't repeat the poor performance like the last time after paying dividends. I don't see any benefits of paying dividends for me.

102944919 : Ya. Dividend XD price drop. So technically dividend is from the price drop .. Unless the price start to move up then u have both capital gain n dividends.
