SIA to Halt Chengdu and Chongqing Flights from Mar 31

SIA will suspend flights to Chengdu and Chongqing from Mar 31, just five months after resuming services to these Chinese cities.

The decision, attributed to regulatory reasons, affects daily flights to Chengdu and thrice-weekly flights to Chongqing.

SIA emphasized China's significance as a market and pledged to collaborate with authorities while adjusting its network and capacity.

This suspension follows similar regulatory-driven halts in 2023, which were later lifted, including services to Shenzhen and Xiamen.
