Since 1920, the average MPG has increased by only 10. ONE HUNDRED YEARS and avg is 25?! That would be like just now getting 500Mhz computers. Sorry folks, hold onto your Nokias, smart phones aren't due for 30 years. Or rather, it'd be like having smart phones all over except in US and majority of population led to believe that smart phones will mind control you so better keep your landlines anyway!

Rivian could succeed if they are able to get a $20k EV out there.

Leaf is the cheapest ATM, unfortunately it is maybe the most ugly vehicle I have ever seen. Not gonna be popular.

Prius is excellent but also hideous. Same problem.

Lightning is good but again, expensive. They won't choose a 90k truck that they have to plug in, they will just get a ICE one. People who buy trucks do it for status and luxury not because they like trucks. It's expensive to own and they guzzle fuel, big status symbol to say you can waste all that money.

Do these US companies do any forward looking research at all? Do they spend their entire budget for lobbying against EV?? FFS!!
