Singapore is 'stocking up' on NVIDIA GPUs

NVIDIA to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (referred to as the SEC) filed documents show that NVIDIA 2024 fiscal third quarter about 15% of the revenue from Singapore, ranked in the U.S., China, Taiwan, China after the fourth-largest market in the world among the NVIDIA.

It is worth mentioning that this is the first time that NVIDIA disclosed data on Singapore as a separate consumer market in its earnings report. Prior to this, NVIDIA only disclosure of the United States, China and Taiwan revenue data, the three markets usually occupy 70% to 85% market share, including Singapore, other markets are categorized as "other".

Recently, NVIDIA CEO Jen-Hsun Huang's four-country tour of Asia, the first stop in Southeast Asia after Japan came to Singapore, which also confirmed the strategic position of Singapore in the Southeast Asian market. Huang Jen-Hsun announced cooperation with Singapore in the field of local AI big models, as well as future infrastructure investment. This is Jen-Hsun Huang's second visit to Singapore after 25 years.

Singapore is the financial, economic and shipping center of Southeast Asia, but the country's land area is only 733.1 square kilometers (2021), about 1/50 of Taiwan Province. such a small territorial country, but a chip consumption power.
