$Singtel (Z74.SG)$ Singtel is likely going to compliment the final dividend next year, which should be higher than the current interim's 5.2cts, with an additional special dividend, minimally drawn from this exceptional gain. The previous strategy of spreading out the special dividend of 5cts into 2.5cts payable each half year didn't give any impact to the shares. Singtel's management would have learned from that experience. It is better to consolidate and give one shot to create that impact. My guess is that the total final dividend payout would be in the vicinity of 10cts.
