世间一凡人 OP : In his letter, Elliott told clients that the hedge fund has largely avoided bubble stocks. Regulatory documents also show that Elliot held only a small amount of Nvidia shares at the end of March, worth about 4.5 million US dollars, but the exact holding period is unclear.
The letter added that until now, AI has not brought about the “significant productivity increase” it promised. Other than summarizing meeting minutes, generating reports, and helping with programming, it has had little practical use, and has failed to bring “value commensurate with the hype.”
As to when the bubble will burst, Elliott believes that if Nvidia's earnings figures are poor, it may happen. However, the company is also wary of shorting these large technology stocks, saying that shorting may be a “suicide act.”
