10baggerbamm OP Prosperity8888 : so powel speaks tomorrow and everyone's expecting a dovish response however last week you had GDP come out showing higher rate of growth for the economy which is a negative data point for fed to cut. even though there's a 100% chance of a cut in September according to all of the statistics there's a disagreement because early on they're saying 50 basis points now they're backing down to 25. I guess what it comes down to is if we do not see a cut in September everything that rallied in anticipation is going to get slaughtered and if we only get a quarter basis point cut I think we're going to see a major hit as well because people are going to be disappointed
