Investing in OpenAI is very welcome.
When the Nikkei Average fell by about 4,000 yen on August 4, I sold about 80% of my shares. It was quite a loss, with most of my investments in semiconductor companies and no information on other companies. I thought there might be a rebound after the decline, and considered buying stocks, but I couldn't find any investment opportunities. The conclusion I came to was to follow Mr. Masayoshi Son. While I haven't bought SoftBank in the past 10 years, I decided to focus my investments on SoftBank Group. I didn't know much about the company and was unaware that it owned 88% of ARM shares.
Thanks to the surge in semiconductor companies from January to April, I was still doing well even during the downturn in August. Looking at the news now, I deeply feel that it was the right decision.
Recently, ARM's stock price has been moving a bit differently, and I didn't understand the reason behind it. Now it makes sense.![]()
