$SoundHound AI(SOUN.US)$ I don't know why my post was removed so I will put it up again. about 20 minutes ago McDonald's released a statement that they are discontinuing their relationship with IBM. if you recall IBM acquired a division within McDonald's called Mclabs. this is the division that was designed to manage their drive-thru AI order entry system. so IBM acquired it constructed what was thought to be the solution for all of McDonald's globally they put it into 100 McDonald's for a beta test. this was done in corporate and franchise restaurants. effective immediately all 100 are going to be removed. McDonald's stated they are still going to pursue solutions for AI drive-thru and they're going to be looking abroad for solutions. the real question becomes and this is what could put SoundHound on the map as a major force to be reckoned with. will they make an investment within their business to expedite the ability to install within a 12 to 18 month window. presently the problem with SoundHound that still exists is there very slow on a large scale White Castle is a four and a half year project it's a guaranteed done deal 4 and 1/2 years that's too damn long. they fixed one of their key problems which was their debt it's gone now they need to solve for filament. if they can come out with a solution and publicize it we now have the ability to provide installation solutions to large scale franchise operations on a national and global basis. then the argument could be made McDonald's would be interested.
