On December 6, SpaceX launched the Falcon 9 launch vehicle from Launch Complex 39A at Kennedy Space Center, successfully placing the Sirius SXM-9 satellite into its intended orbit. Approximately 8.5 minutes after liftoff, the rocket's first stage booster successfully landed on the drone ship "Just Read the Instructions", marking the 19th flight of booster B1076 and the 100th successful recovery for "Just Read the Instructions".
